Spooky Things Lurking Under Your Clutter

It’s Halloween time.  Do you have spooky things lurking under your clutter?

Here’s a scary list of things we’ve found hiding underneath and behind items that have been left collecting dust for too long:

• Dust, of course (hey, we all have it!)

• Spiders

• Beetles

• Salamanders

• Mice (most of the time they’re not alive but once a client was able to corner, catch, and release a live one!)

• Rodent bones (even squirrels)

• Forgotten pizza

• Really overdue bills

• Things that expired before I was born (a favorite game to play is who can find the oldest expiration date)

• Flies

• Maggots

• Old Halloween candy

This is by no means an exhaustive list but these things can certainly be scary and are the stuff of nightmares, though not for us seasoned organizing professionals.
